What the Cancer Health Check includes

The Cancer Health Check includes a detailed medical history and examination, Trucheck multi-cancer screen, doctor-led interpretation and personalised report.

It is described for patients over 40, or over 35 with a strong family history, who want a dedicated screening appointment rather than a standalone laboratory result.

Screening does not guarantee that cancer is not present. Your doctor will explain what the test can and cannot tell you, and what follow-up would be appropriate if results or symptoms require further assessment.

When to compare executive health checks

Executive Man and Executive Woman include broader investigation panels and whole-body MRI. They may be relevant if you want cancer-related markers considered alongside cardiovascular, hormone, sexual health, lung function, audiometry and MRI findings.

Well Man Plus and Well Woman Plus may be useful comparisons if ultrasound imaging is the main additional investigation you want alongside a comprehensive annual check.

If you have symptoms

Private screening is not a substitute for urgent assessment of symptoms. If you have a new lump, unexplained weight loss, bleeding, persistent pain, change in bowel habit or other worrying symptoms, you should seek medical advice promptly rather than waiting for a screening appointment.

A doctor-led appointment can help decide whether screening, diagnostic imaging or specialist referral is most appropriate.
