How musculoskeletal care fits into the practice
Pain in the back, neck, shoulders, hips, or knees is one of the most common reasons people see a doctor — and one of the slowest things to resolve through fragmented care. We brought musculoskeletal treatment in-house so that diagnosis, manual treatment, imaging, and any onward referrals can happen under one roof and in the same record.
In practice this means a patient with persistent lower-back pain might see the GP for a clinical history and bloods to rule out organic cause, have an MRI arranged through our radiology partners, and begin chiropractic treatment with Justin — all coordinated, and all on Harley Street.
What we treat
Our chiropractor sees the full range of mechanical and soft-tissue conditions:
- Lower-back pain, including muscle strain, sciatica, and spinal-alignment issues
- Neck pain, tension, and posture-related problems
- Shoulder injuries — rotator cuff, impingement, frozen shoulder
- Hip and knee pain, including arthritis-related and sports-related cases
- Repetitive strain injuries affecting elbows, wrists, and ankles
- Pregnancy-related musculoskeletal pain
- Post-injury rehabilitation alongside specialist orthopaedic care
If your case requires advanced imaging or specialist orthopaedic input, we can arrange both within our trusted Harley Street network.
Who is the chiropractor?
Our in-house chiropractor is Dr Justin Holmes, who qualified from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and the McTimoney Chiropractic Association. He brings additional experience from earlier work as a physical and occupational therapist.
What is chiropractic, exactly?
Chiropractic is a regulated healthcare profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mechanical disorders of the muscular and skeletal systems. Treatment uses a range of manual techniques, with an emphasis on spinal manipulation, alongside advice on exercise, rehabilitation, lifestyle, and diet.
Will the treatment hurt?
The McTimoney method uses light, quick, and specific adjustments. Most patients experience little or no discomfort during treatment. If something does not feel right we adjust the approach immediately.
Do you offer home visits?
Yes — within a two-mile radius of the clinic. Home visits are useful for patients with limited mobility or post-natal mothers. Please call to confirm a booking.
Is treatment safe during pregnancy?
Yes, when performed by a chiropractor trained in pregnancy-specific care. Justin uses gentle adjustments tailored for expecting and post-natal mothers, focused on spinal alignment, posture, and pelvic comfort.
